+ | The monkey was able to free himself from his unlawful sentence by use his Lion and to play a tune. Also, scared of the animals and they all went to new places. This happened because the lion told the monkey that he would give the monkey his whole kingdom and anything he wanted but he refused and disobeyed so everyone was surprised an left because the animals scared.
+ | |||
+ | To begin with, when the monkey was there, he was charged with a sentence. So, he was still allowed to keep his bow and arrow and he was also still able to play his fiddle. When he was in the middle of the tune it got quicker and quicker, he annoyed everyone and the dancers were tired. Based on the text states “... He was a master player of his time, and in addition to this came the wonderful power of his charmed fiddle. Thus, when he struck the first note of "Cockcrow" upon it, the court began at once to show an unusual and spontaneous liveliness, and before he came to the first waltzing turn of the old tune the whole court was dancing like a whirlwind. Over and over, quicker and quicker, sounded the tune of "Cockcrow" on the charmed fiddle, until some of the dancers, exhausted, fell down, although still keeping their feet in motion.” This shows, he was going to quick and made the dancers tired .To add on, when both the lion and wolf asked him to stop he didn’t really hear so ignored them without knowing. But the second time, the lion was desperate at to the monkey he would give the monkey his kingdom and everything but he refused and didn’t want the request. According to the text it says “... Wolf was the first to cry out in pleading tones breathlessly, "Please stop, Cousin Monkey! For love's sake, please stop!"But Monkey did not even hear him. Over and over sounded the resistless waltz of "Cockcrow.” After a while, Lion showed signs of fatigue, and when he had gone the round once more with his young lion wife, he growled as he passed Monkey, "My whole kingdom is yours, ape, if you just stop playing.""I do not want it," answered Monkey, "but withdraw the sentence and give me my bow and arrow, and you, Wolf, acknowledge that you stole it from me... The court and other animals were so afraid that he might begin again that they hastily disbanded to new parts of the world.” To clarify, because the monkey didn’t want the trade/request, all the court people moved to different places because they were afraid about what would happen net so they all left
+ | In conclusion, the monkey was able to break free from his unlawful sentence. One way was he used his fiddle to play a song and for some reason his fiddle playing pleased the court people and they started to dance until their feet hurt. Another way he escaped it was since he obeyed the offer the lion king gave to him, everyone was scared about what would happen next if they kept fighting like that so man people left the town or place because of it. If i were in the monkeys position, I would never have thought that I would ave been able to escape a sentence so I would definitely feel grateful, strange, relived and definitely also feel a little scared if the animal would come back and wanted to go to court again.

Steadying himself with the Goat’s horns, he safely reached the mouth of the well and made off as fast as he could." Meg had a voice like a flute, and she and her mother led the little choir. "Amy chirped like a cricket, and Jo wandered through the airs at her own sweet will, always coming out at the wrong place with a croak or a quaver that spoiled the most pensive tune.” This means that they were singing in the tone that best suits them. To add on, they sang a familiar lullaby that they never grew out of. According to the text it states, “and it had become a household custom, for the mother was a born singer. The first sound in the morning was her voice as she went about the house singing like a lark, and the last sound at night was the same cheery sound, for the girls never grew too old for that familiar lullaby.” This shows that they sang a household custom which was a lullaby that they never grew out of. In conclusion, these are some activities they did in the evening and at night.

Original: According to the story, the letter from Three cheers of father made everyone’s day bright. To begin with, Mrs. March told everyone that after suppper she had a surprise for so i feel like they was eager to see the surprise Mrs. March had for them. Based on the text it states “As they gathered about the table, Mrs. March said, with a particularly happy face, "I've got a treat for you after supper." A quick, bright smile went round like a streak of sunshine. Beth clapped her hands, regardless of the biscuit she held, and Jo tossed up her napkin, crying, "A letter! A letter! Three cheers for Father!" This means that after supper Mrs. March had a surprise for everyone and they might be eager to see what Mrs. March had for them. To add on, Mrs. March had something for the girls too. In the text it states "Hurry and get done! Don't stop to quirk your little finger and simper over your plate, Amy," cried Jo, choking on her tea and dropping her bread, butter side down, on the carpet in her haste to get at the treat. Beth ate no more, but crept away to sit in her shadowy corner and brood over the delight to come, till the others were ready.” This shows that they were eating very fast because they wanted to know what’s inside. In conclusion, this is what made everyone happy.

'Original: According to the story, Beth is scared about people fainting. To begin when then where rehearsing Beth was sacred when they fainted. Based on the text it states “I can't help it. I never saw anyone faint, and I don't choose to make myself all black and blue, tumbling flat as you do. If I can go down easily, I'll drop. If I can't, I shall fall into a chair and be graceful. I don't care if Hugo does come at me with a pistol," returned Amy, who was not gifted with dramatic power, but was chosen because she was small enough to be borne out shrieking by the villain of the piece.” This means that she is frightened about people fainting. To add on, Beth asked if they can do it another way instead. According to the text it states “Do it this way. Clasp your hands so, and stagger across the room, crying frantically, 'Roderigo! Save me! Save me!'" and away went Jo, with a melodramatic scream which was truly thrilling. Amy followed, but she poked her hands out stiffly before her, and jerked herself along as if she went by machinery, and her "Ow!" was more suggestive of pins being run into her than of fear and anguish. Jo gave a despairing groan, and Meg laughed outright, while Beth let her bread burn as she watched the fun with interest. "It's no use! Do the best you can when the time comes, and if the audience laughs, don't blame me. Come on, Meg." This shows that Beth asked if they can do it in another way so they did but then it didn’t work so she said if they audience laugh it’s not my fault. In conclusion, this is what Beth is scared about according to this story.
