+ | I think the author's message they are trying to get to the reader is "do as you are told" or "when someone tells you to do something do it". One reason i think this is the message is because when all the other plants bow down their heads and tell the buckwheat to do it, the buckwheat don't bow down their head. As a result, the buckwheat died and the other plants lived. Another reason is since the buckwheat didn't do what they were supposed to, in return they died and all the other plants got a reward of good weather and life. |

I think the author's message they are trying to get to the reader is "do as you are told" or "when someone tells you to do something do it". One reason i think this is the message is because when all the other plants bow down their heads and tell the buckwheat to do it, the buckwheat don't bow down their head. As a result, the buckwheat died and the other plants lived. Another reason is since the buckwheat didn't do what they were supposed to, in return they died and all the other plants got a reward of good weather and life.
