| + | NASA’s newest rover, perseverance will launch on a rocket in July 2020 to fly to mars. The trip to the planet will almost take 7 months. And the space craft will fly about 316 million miles before it arrives at its destination. The spacecraft will fly through the thin atmosphere behind a heat shield deploy parachute. On a surface, in a place called jezero crater, perseverance will begun its for any signs of life on Mars. The rover will examine layers of sedimentary rocks to study the geology of mars. | ||
