		+	In the 2000s, wolves were close to being extinct, but they bounced back and now they are steadily increasing. Surprisingly, military bases are to thank for this recovery. In Europe, "wolves were heavily persecuted for attacking livestock." This was one of the main reasons as to why their population declined so rapidly. However, laws were later on created and passed to protect the wolves. Scientists were able to identify the military as a factor in the increase of the wolf population because they "noticed that the first pair of wolves to show up in a new state always settled on a military training ground." The reason for this is because wolf mortality rates were very low in military grounds when compared to protected areas, since those grounds are closed off to the public and there really isn't a chance for poachers to catch wolves there. Basically, the wolves feel much safer in military bases, and so they initially go there to settle. There is more of a sense of protection around soldiers than hunters.

		+	The same side of the moon always faces the earth because the moon is tidally locked to the planet. Because of this, the moon also revolves and spins around the sun, so it experiences day and night, too. Data collected from the side of the moon that faces us shows that the temperature there can go up to 260 degrees Fahrenheit during the day and it can go as low as -280 degrees Fahrenheit during the night. In order to find out about the "dark side," or the side of the moon that we are unable to perceive, there was a new Chinese mission that landed on that area. Apparently, there were even colder temperatures there, especially during the lunar night. There is a possibility that the difference in the temperature readings between China's mission and U.S.A's Apollo Mission might have been due to the different soil compositions on the two sides. However, there is still a lot of exploration and research yet to be done in order to confirm certain statements and get more answers.
