Sara was worried that she was always dreaming and thinking odd things and could not herself remember any time when she had not been thinking things about grown-up people and the world they belonged to. She was nervous to go to any new place she never went to before. The feeling of the people in home with Mrs. March is generous. The people in the home with Mrs March helped a group of homeless kids and gave them food. The kids needed help because they didn't know a lot of english and they were homeless.
The bangs on the door to make sure the girls know mom is home. The bang sent the basket under the sofa and mom was back home. I think that Beth is scared about her turn sitting in the chair with a crown and the other girls walking up to Beth and giving her presents. Along with the present they gave her a kiss. I think the author's message they are trying to get to the reader is "do as you are told" or "when someone tells you to do something do it". One reason i think this is the message is because when all the other plants bow down their heads and tell the buckwheat to do it, the buckwheat don't bow down their head. As a result, the buckwheat died and the other plants lived. Another reason is since the buckwheat didn't do what they were supposed to, in return they died and all the other plants got a reward of good weather and life. The third boy held a ring in his mouth so hard that it gave a forth sound. The sound was very nice. Then later he became a great musical composer. The fourth boy he was the ugly person of the family. He must eat pepper and butter like a sick chicken. Then he became a poet and had the first kiss. There are differences between the grasshopper and the leapfrog. One difference is the grasshopper didn't have many manners and was a bit rude but the leapfrog was not rude and he remained quiet. Also the leapfrog won the contest and the grasshopper did not win the contest. The leapfrog stood still and was quiet people thought he was ill. The grasshopper can sing and he wore a green suit. The story is mainly about a apple branch being beautiful but when he looks at all the other plants, most of them are sad and gloomy. The apple branch feels bad for the gloomy plants. Then sunbeam comes to the apple branch and asks him which plant do u feel bad for the poor plants. We know how the author is using personification because the flax was a beautiful plant and humans can't have that neat and pretty. Also the flax has been through a lot of torture and a human can't go through a lot of torture. Mrs. Bhaer is a thoughtful person. She helped Nat when he was sick and let him stay at her home for a while. She heard Tommy's conversation with Nat and she wants to help out Nat a little since he wanted to be in the band . I think when Mrs. Bhaer says, there's something in the child, i think that she means the boy is talented. Also she maybe is talking about the sadness in the boy since he was homeless and he lost his father.
Jo and Meg I think they had the the hardest life because when they were little they lost their father. This made them homeless and stay on streets. They had stayed there the rest of their life.
